About Alarms For Farms and this site
Company History: Alarms for Farms was founded in 1994 by electronics graduate Damon Rodwell, and for three years serviced the farms within a 100-mile radius of our Gloucester base.
A move to southern Scotland in 1997 and the advent of the internet saw an increase in the mail-order side of the business, and our product range steadily evolved, mainly driven by requests and ideas from the farming community. We now have the most comprehensive range of specialist farm security equipment on the UK market.
Our security products can be divided into three areas: External Wireless Perimeter Protection; Wireless CCTV and GSM-based stand-alone systems. In addition to this, we supply a variety of gadgets and useful gizmos like GPS trackers and horsebox cameras.
Widely regarded as the UK market-leader, we offer a next-day nationwide delivery service. Among our customers are several UK police forces and a clutch of blue-chip organisations outside the farming industry who are attracted by the superb reliability and rugged construction of our perimeter protection systems. These include Ford Motor Company, Group 4 Security, The London Eye and Laing O'Rourke.
We also export, and have customers in the USA, all over Europe, Africa and as far afield as Guatemala, Moldova and Jamaica.
Our core business, though, remains the UK farming community, and we are committed to helping in the fight against the scourge of rural crime.
