Where you're lucky enough to have the camera(s) and recorder sufficiently close together to allow cabling between the two, no wireless link is needed. In this case you can simply buy a DVR and one or more hardwired cameras. This is the same camera we use in our top-of-the-range OmniSight system, but sold here without a transmitter. It comes complete with a mains power supply and ten metres of interconnecting cable. This can be increased to 25m at no extra cost (just give us a call on 01573 440761) or up to 100m for a few pounds extra.
The camera has built-in infra-red lighting, which acts like a powerful torch beam and give good clear footage up to about 25m, even in complete darkness. It also boasts a "vari-focal" lens, which allows you to adjust the field of vision from 35 degrees up to 72 degrees when you're setting it up, ensuring you cover just the right area and achieve optimum detail.
